1. Information We Collect
PullVin collects minimal data to operate the service:
- Search queries: VINs and vehicle queries you enter are used to fetch results. We may log queries in anonymized, aggregated form to improve coverage.
- Server logs: Standard web server logs (IP address, browser, page visited, timestamp). Retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
- Contact form: Name, email address, and message text when you submit the contact form.
- Recall subscriptions: Email address and vehicle information if you opt in to recall alerts.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide vehicle safety lookups and VIN decoding.
- To send recall alert emails you explicitly requested.
- To respond to contact form inquiries.
- To detect and prevent abuse or unauthorized access.
- To improve site performance and coverage.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Cookies
PullVin does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. We use only session-level browser storage for basic functionality (e.g., remembering filter preferences). We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics that track individual users across sites.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Google Fonts (loaded from fonts.googleapis.com) to render the Outfit typeface. Google may log font requests per their privacy policy. No other third-party scripts are loaded on PullVin pages.
5. Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months. Recall subscription records are retained until you unsubscribe. Server logs are deleted after 30 days.
6. Your Rights
You may request deletion of any personal data we hold by emailing admin@pullvin.com. We will respond within 30 days.
